All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development will co-fund winning applications for research grants under our Call for Proposals that focus on early grade literacy education.

All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development seeks to identify and analyze the effects of technology on early grade literacy rates in developing countries to optimize the allocation of resources, inform decisions, and enhance solutions. Launched in 2011 by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Vision, and the Australian Government, it is an ongoing series of competitions that leverages science and  technology to create and apply scalable solutions to improve literacy skills of early grade learners in developing countries.
